Every year I really plan to do it. But usually, it remains a combination of things floating around in my head, random Post-its, and pages in various notebooks and online apps to keep track of things. And of course, occasionally brainstorming and philosophizing with inspiring people around me. Yesterday I was rereading the book &#8221;\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bol.com\/nl\/p\/een-werkweek-van-4-uur\/9200000060212706\/?suggestionType=featured_product&amp;suggestedFor=4%20ur&amp;originalSearchContext=media_all&amp;originalSection=main\"><span dir=\"auto\">A 4-Hour Workweek<\/span><\/a><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0&#8221; by Timothy Ferris, and it&#8217;s actually quite simple. If every day you want to do something useful, you ask yourself: &#8220;If this is the only thing I get done today, am I satisfied with my day?&#8221; Often, you&#8217;re mainly\u00a0<\/span><em><span dir=\"auto\">busy<\/span><\/em><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0(with unimportant things) and not\u00a0<\/span><em><span dir=\"auto\">productive<\/span><\/em><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0. And you&#8217;re thinking up things to avoid other, more important things. If you set two (no more!) goals to accomplish every day, then do them. And attach a timeframe to achieving your goals. Keep it very simple. You can do this a day ahead, a week ahead, or a year ahead. But without a set goal with a time frame, you can easily find yourself a few weeks further down the line.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span dir=\"auto\">3 tips to learn how to set goals for yourself:<\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">Attend a training with Anthony Robbins. For example,\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.upwlondon.co.uk\/?aff=DISCOUNTEVENTTICKET\"><span dir=\"auto\">Unleash the Power Within<\/span><\/a><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0. Only held once a year in Europe, this time in London from April 19-22, 2018. It has given me many insights into my strengths and weaknesses, what I want to achieve, and how I can achieve this by setting measurable goals, among other things.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">Use a planner. A very comprehensive, yet user-friendly planner for both business and personal use can be downloaded for free from\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/purpuz.com\/downloads\/\"><span dir=\"auto\">Purpuz<\/span><\/a><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">Try to read a book about personal development every month, even if it&#8217;s just one page. You&#8217;ll find it inspires you to reflect and determine or adjust your direction.
