You will be stress-free in 72 hours

A few days in nature is good for everyone. Not only is the fresh air good for you, but the view and the silence around you also contribute to a better mental state. De-stressing happens almost automatically. Research now confirms this: scientists sent five people with stressful lives into the Swedish countryside to spend 72 hours in a unique accommodation. And what happened: stress levels dropped by a whopping 70 percent, according to a Swedish professor from Stockholm.

Why nature is good for you and can reduce stress

The quality of life in Sweden is very high, as various studies have shown. Not only is there plenty of unspoiled nature to relax in, but it’s actually the entire Swedes’ lifestyle that contributes to this. It’s a so-called “close to nature lifestyle,” with plenty of outdoor activities, and therefore often surrounded by healthy fresh air.

The study participants stayed in a glass cabin, each with their own little house. After three full days in the glass cabin in Sweden, their blood pressure dropped, their heart rate also decreased slightly, and simultaneously their creativity and overall well-being increased.
